The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With 39 minutes on the clock, Diego Lauaxeta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Diego Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Arturo Sengrat made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
