Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Angelo Salbatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Sengrat. Arturo Sengrat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Sengrat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Arturo Sengrat despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Sengrat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Arturo Sengrat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arturo Sengrat came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Sengrat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Sengrat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Rivermania FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Sengrat came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Sengrat having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Arturo Sengrat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rivermania FC's Arturo Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play. Arturo Sengrat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arturo Sengrat, 0-6. Arturo Sengrat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Andino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 71 minute of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arturo Sengrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Sengrat having to interfere. Rivermania FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Felix Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Arturo Sengrat, making the score, 0-9. In the 94th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rivermania FC throughout the match.
