Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Avram Lupoaia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jack Grealish recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Jack Grealish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute of play forced FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saúl Gentiletti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Vilmantas Matulas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Grealish, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after FC Žalia Giria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. 38 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Vilmantas Matulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Saúl Gentiletti made the kick off in the second half. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vytautas Petkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Jack Grealish hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the game Vytautas Petkus made a throw-in which Saúl Gentiletti played forward. Guillermo Mariano made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Žalia Giria's Rokas Kavaliauskas. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilmantas Matulas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Saúl Gentiletti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Saúl Gentiletti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Saúl Gentiletti made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Žalia Giria were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
