Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Walter Giardino took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Grigoris Kornaros who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Grigoris Kornaros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 9th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. A well-hit corner resulted in Moises Gayoso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 18th minute Walter Giardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save tHe SOnS of rAGnar from getting a goal against them. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which José Sá despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but José Sá made a huge save. José Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. tHe SOnS of rAGnar made a substitution. Giannis Papoutsakis replaced Kosmas Salaminiotis. After 72 minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Sá quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Telis Ntasios hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in tHe SOnS of rAGnar's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Sá came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Walter Giardino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Giardino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Telis Ntasios came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
