Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Candido Uriondo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. In the 10th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Rafel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Rafel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the ARGENTINO JNR defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damaso Rafel. The ARGENTINO JNR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Rafel should have stopped the shot. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Damaso Rafel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Qian Lin Gang came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Rafel saved ARGENTINO JNR from getting behind. Edson Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. José Pedro Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Pedro Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes ARGENTINO JNR got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Matos.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Qian Lin Gang to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes of play ARGENTINO JNR's José Pedro Matos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 63rd match minute, ARGENTINO JNR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Matos to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Qian Lin Gang went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 71st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Qian Lin Gang took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. A collision led to ARGENTINO JNR getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Candido Uriondo hit a great ball. Damaso Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute of play. ARGENTINO JNR's Damaso Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Qian Lin Gang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Patricio Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damaso Rafel. The goal made the score 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
