When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Willian Cuesta got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Garci in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Garci came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
