Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Valladares in the 25th minute of play. Henrique Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 31st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Arce in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. 36 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in MEL - ULTIMATE's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Arruda came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinei Abreu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Henrique Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Fernandez in the 47th minute of the match. The MEL - ULTIMATE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colombia were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jailson Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Samuel Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hugo Arce came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the MEL - ULTIMATE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Arce couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Valladares in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Renan Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Orlando Tafalla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jailson Fernandez, made in the 58th minute of the game. Renan Valladares struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MEL - ULTIMATE. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jailson Fernandez went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Pascual Carballar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Renan Valladares, made in the 70th minute of the game. If Jailson Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Fernandez came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinícius de Godoi's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinícius de Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MEL - ULTIMATE getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Vinícius de Godoi hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Valladares in the 85th minute of play. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Claudinei Abreu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Pascual Carballar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Mastache in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
