An unexpectedly hard shot by M. Agus Young in the 9th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from M. Agus Young in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Valer Perișoară was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Lucia de Merlo the free kick. Valer Perișoară hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kelly Nicholas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Levan Poggenborg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucrețiu Sfetcu having to make a save. M. Agus Young fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Sfetcu having to interfere. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from M. Agus Young in the 19th minute of play. M. Agus Young's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute M. Agus Young shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino got control of the ball when Valer Perișoară tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Norberto Tino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Malcoci. Levan Poggenborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucrețiu Sfetcu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the match Santa Lucia de Merlo got a corner. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnaldo Chano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Costin Malcoci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Norberto Tino made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Lechințan came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Norberto Tino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valer Perișoară. M. Agus Young took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Lucrețiu Sfetcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for M. Agus Young to strike the kick off in the second half. M. Agus Young had several of the FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Lucrețiu Sfetcu as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bogdan Cucu hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match Arnaldo Chano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Santa Lucia de Merlo defense, Valer Perișoară kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Tino. The Santa Lucia de Merlo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Tino should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Malcoci came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Sfetcu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of M. Agus Young's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros was substituted for M. Agus Young. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt made a substitution. Silviu Latarețu replaced Valer Perișoară. 77 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucrețiu Sfetcu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 78 minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnaldo Chano who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Santa Lucia de Merlo's Arnaldo Chano to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucrețiu Sfetcu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Adrian Nasta notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino. Norberto Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84thth minute of the game Polo Quinteros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santa Lucia de Merlo were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnaldo Chano took the corner. The corner led Santa Lucia de Merlo's Arnaldo Chano to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucrețiu Sfetcu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Polo Quinteros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Santa Lucia de Merlo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
