Bülent Keçecioğlu was a little too slow when Dan Bryngelsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Güngör Yamanöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bülent Keçecioğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingmar Hellkvist's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, FC Töve's goal looked a bit too open when Güngör Yamanöz came free, but Åke Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Töve's Dan Bryngelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingmar Hellkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Güngör Yamanöz came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Åke Rudberg could save by the left post. In the 61st match minute, FC Töve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th match minute, Besiktas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hami Volkan to maneuver through the defense.
