After a defensive mix-up in MegaFenerbahce's zone, Aziz Atabek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atay Türegün came out of the goal and Aziz Atabek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute Fabio Mancinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orçun Yabgu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Mancinelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 minutes, Hayri Yağmurdereli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ManCiTy and the MegaFenerbahce players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hayri Yağmurdereli hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, ManCiTy's goal looked a bit too open when Riho Seitse came free, but Orçun Yabgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Cihangir Cespan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Riho Seitse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orçun Yabgu. ManCiTy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Riho Seitse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Mancinelli in the 27th minute of play forced ManCiTy's goalkeeper Orçun Yabgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes ManCiTy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio Mancinelli who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on MegaFenerbahce's corner Fabio Mancinelli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orçun Yabgu quite easily take care of the ball. If Gazi Arıcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Gazi Arıcan made a precise shot to the right of Orçun Yabgu. ManCiTy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. With an all-out effort, ManCiTy's Atay Türegün threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Efekan Akyol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Gazi Arıcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orçun Yabgu was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Orçun Yabgu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riho Seitse in the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Riho Seitse in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orçun Yabgu saved ManCiTy from getting behind. Orçun Yabgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Mancinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gazi Arıcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Atıf Kıvılcım hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ManCiTy's Orçun Yabgu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riho Seitse in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Mancinelli in the 75th minute of play forced ManCiTy's goalkeeper Orçun Yabgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fabio Mancinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gazi Arıcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Orçun Yabgu made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Fabio Mancinelli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orçun Yabgu. The goal made the score 0-5. Orçun Yabgu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aşık Ulusu in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Onur Türkoğlu in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orçun Yabgu saved ManCiTy from getting behind. A collision led to ManCiTy getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hayri Yağmurdereli hit a great ball. Orçun Yabgu was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Onur Türkoğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Onur Türkoğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. MegaFenerbahce's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
