Atay Türegün stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valer Perișoară's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riho Seitse in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ejvind Kirkemand to maneuver through the defense. Atay Türegün came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Basarab Panduru. But to his dismay, Basarab Panduru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Mancinelli in the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's zone, Fabio Mancinelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Sfetcu came out of the goal and Fabio Mancinelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, MegaFenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Panduru came free, but Atay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Chioreanu in the 38th minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Riho Seitse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Valer Perișoară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atay Türegün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Perișoară in the 43rd minute of play. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Chioreanu in the 44th minute of the match. Gazi Arıcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lucrețiu Sfetcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Basarab Panduru made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, MegaFenerbahce's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Basarab Panduru fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 54th minute Fabio Mancinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Mancinelli in the 55th minute of play. Fabio Mancinelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Costin Malcoci was substituted for Horia Chioreanu. When Fabio Mancinelli came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the MegaFenerbahce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Mancinelli couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Åke Fransson during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in MegaFenerbahce fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! In the 76th match minute, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basarab Panduru to maneuver through the defense. MegaFenerbahce made a substitution. Aşık Ulusu replaced Riho Seitse. Basarab Panduru hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes MegaFenerbahce got a freekick which was hit by Gazi Arıcan. In the 82nd minute, Fabio Mancinelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MegaFenerbahce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. MegaFenerbahce's Onur Türkoğlu was substituted for Fabio Mancinelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Malcoci in the 87th minute of play forced MegaFenerbahce's goalkeeper Atay Türegün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aşık Ulusu in the 89th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aşık Ulusu in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucrețiu Sfetcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute MegaFenerbahce were awarded a corner. Bengt-Åke Fransson went to the cornerflag to take it. Basarab Birișu thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lucrețiu Sfetcu, a very annoying self made goal in the 93rd minute which led to 2-3. In the 96th minute, Aşık Ulusu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucrețiu Sfetcu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented MegaFenerbahce from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
