In the 3rd minute Haroldo Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Brazil Academy's corner Beto Soeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Barovero quite easily take care of the ball. Marcelino Cidro made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brazil Academy's Célio Dante. In the 14th minute Maximiliano Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brazil Academy's Maximiliano Omar got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Vítor Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daren McCollum in the 25th minute of play. Brazil Academy's José Vítor Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Brazil Academy from getting a goal against them. Lugano 1 y 2's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Omar in the 31st minute of play. Brazil Academy's Célio Dante quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcelino Cidro, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Lugano 1 y 2's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Omar in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Maximiliano Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, one of Lugano 1 y 2:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lugano 1 y 2:s Marcelo Barovero showed great skill when he stopped Beto Soeiro:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Omar in the 43rd minute of play forced Lugano 1 y 2's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Maximiliano Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Lugano 1 y 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daren McCollum to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Toro made a kick off. José Vítor Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daren McCollum in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Omar in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Barovero saved Lugano 1 y 2 from getting behind. Lugano 1 y 2's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Amaral in the 58th minute of play. Brazil Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Beto Soeiro in the 60th minute. Maximiliano Omar in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelo Barovero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Omar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lugano 1 y 2 made a substitution. Fermin Quintin replaced Constantino Toro. In the 68th minute of the match Brazil Academy got a corner. Lugano 1 y 2's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beto Soeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Beto Soeiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Barovero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Marcelo Barovero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Omar in the 72nd minute of play. Haroldo Laffitte scored 2-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Vítor Prata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Fermin Quintin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Brazil Academy's José Vítor Prata. José Vítor Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Omar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brazil Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugano 1 y 2 the free kick. 87 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Omar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Barovero. Lugano 1 y 2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Omar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daren McCollum in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Vítor Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92ndth minute of the game Maximiliano Omar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lugano 1 y 2's Marcelo Barovero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximiliano Omar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lugano 1 y 2 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brazil Academy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
