In the 39th minute, Elvio Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Renato Vidal got control of the ball when M. Agus Young tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Marques in the 44th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when M. Agus Young stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santa Lucia de Merlo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
