Bülent Keçecioğlu made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Iuri Quirino sent off a good shot on target. In the 22ndth minute of the game Kjell Gustafsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Besiktas's Bülent Keçecioğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bülent Keçecioğlu stood somewhat misplaced when Kjell Gustafsson came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Bülent Keçecioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Yıldırım Işıker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Einar Gustavsson having to make a save. When Hami Volkan fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Besiktas's protests and gave Hami Volkan a yellow card for diving instead. Hami Volkan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Bülent Keçecioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Besiktas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Anıl Cenk Acem hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Yüce Kocak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Einar Gustavsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 46 minutes into the match, Målilla's goal looked a bit too open when Yıldırım Işıker came free, but Einar Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Gustafsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Kjell Gustafsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bülent Keçecioğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Bülent Keçecioğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Iuri Quirino took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bülent Keçecioğlu. Yıldırım Işıker might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Einar Gustavsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
