In the 10th match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Ado to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Rodolfo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Jerardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Errapel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Jerardo ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Jerardo came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. From close distance Pastor Ado pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 17 minutes into the game. After 20 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Wei Kang Hai. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Miguel Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Maradona's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Verdun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Errecaborda AFC's Isidro Gines nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Errapel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Ado got free with Jonathan Errapel in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Maradona from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Errapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 43rd minute of the match. Victorino Sandalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Miguel Transito made the kick off in the second half. Wei Kang Hai's late challenge caught a Errecaborda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wei Kang Hai helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Santa Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Kang Hai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Errapel came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado. But to his dismay, Pastor Ado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 66th minute, Rodolfo Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match, Laureano Sustrai got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edmond Verdun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edmond Verdun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Sustrai in the 77th minute. Jonathan Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 85 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Savion. Errecaborda AFC's Rogelio Jakes was substituted for Aírton Urbano. In the 92nd minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Errecaborda AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
