Aldo Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen in the 21st minute of the match. Aldo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gayle Leto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gayle Leto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletic Club Araucaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Gayle Leto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Beltxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gayle Leto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Beltxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Atletic Club Araucaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Abdul Majid Awat managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Marno F.C.'s Gabriel Mónos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Cefero in the 45th minute of play forced Atletic Club Araucaria's goalkeeper Abdul Majid Awat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aldo Beltxe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen made the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Mónos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdul Majid Awat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Igor Jokin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Abdul Majid Awat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Atletic Club Araucaria's Leopoldo Cesaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Beltxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Marno F.C.'s James Butler was substituted for Gabriel Mónos. After a defensive mix-up in Marno F.C.'s zone, Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Beltxe came out of the goal and Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lázaro Cefero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdul Majid Awat having to make a save. Marno F.C.'s Doni Guedes was substituted for Igor Jokin. Atletic Club Araucaria's Aldo Diagur was substituted for Gayle Leto. Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Atletic Club Araucaria's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Valiente came free, but Abdul Majid Awat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Marno F.C. getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Zeledon Valiente hit a great ball. A hard shot by Rodrigo Meléndez from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Aldo Beltxe's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 93rd minute, Baldomiro Gonchan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Atletic Club Araucaria supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atletic Club Araucaria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
