The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Cidro to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Rozarius came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Moscatelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldo Renteria's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 15th minute of play. Enrique Rozarius scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Wilhelm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franco Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Lee in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amir Lee in the 27th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldo Renteria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Moscatelli having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Dalton to maneuver through the defense. Amir Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Franco Moscatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldo Renteria scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Moscatelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldo Renteria in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Moscatelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 45 minutes, Waldo Renteria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascade Park West's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldo Renteria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amir Lee made a kick off. Gilberto Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Wilhelm having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Allen Dalton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Franco Moscatelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Rozarius in the 63rd minute of play. Allen Dalton took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Moscatelli. Franco Moscatelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Franco Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allen Dalton in the 80th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Dario Wilhelm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Enrique Rozarius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cascade Park West's Wang Sha Qian was substituted for Amir Lee. Cascade Park West's Isidro Singleton was substituted for Claude Joyner. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Rashad Richardson got a free kick in the 89th minute. After recieving a nice pass, La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Polat Aranda could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Dario Wilhelm however easily saved by the left post. Polat Aranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoilo Doblas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polat Aranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
