After a rather tough play, Atletic Club Araucaria's Epifanio Theobald got a free kick in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franco Moscatelli. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Damian Eduino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Epifanio Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Atletic Club Araucaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, La Scaloneta's Polat Aranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Moscatelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nikita Kovtun kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Abdul Majid Awat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Scaloneta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
