In the 25th minute of the match Sentimiento Auriazul got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisito Behe ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lázaro Mel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun did a great save. Mihail Stroia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Tate in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Bob Hinkler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmond Verdun. Sentimiento Auriazul's Mihail Stroia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Sentimiento Auriazul from getting a goal against them. Mihail Stroia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Tate, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Sentimiento Auriazul's Mihail Stroia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Tate in the 43rd minute of play. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Fidanza in the 45th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Felix Johans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Verdun was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Joe Tate made the kick off in the second half. Mihail Stroia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Mihail Stroia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Tate in the 55th minute of the match. Mihail Stroia came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Errecaborda AFC's Joe Tate. But to his dismay, Joe Tate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Felix Johans in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edmond Verdun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fernando Fidanza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sentimiento Auriazul's Mihail Stroia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gines in the 66th minute of play. Mihail Stroia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmond Verdun had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fernando Fidanza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Valko De Hond hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valko De Hond to maneuver through the defense. Mihail Stroia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Rameriz in the 85th minute of play. Joe Tate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Gines struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Mihail Stroia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Errecaborda AFC. When the referee ended the match the Errecaborda AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
