Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Birila started the match with the kick off. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medero Medina in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Medero Medina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Laureano Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Medero Medina. After 26 minutes of play, Papillon AC's Zosimo Vadillo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Errapel was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Sergio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Miguel Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Maradona's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Van Damme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Transito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Santa Maradona from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gustavo Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papillon AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Birila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Errapel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Birila came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Birila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Papillon AC defense, Rodolfo Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean Van Damme. The Papillon AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean Van Damme should have stopped the shot. If Sergio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Rodolfo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Van Damme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes, Gustavo Birila made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Birila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zosimo Vadillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Miguel Transito notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme. Jean Van Damme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the game, Sergio Jerano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Errapel. Sergio Jerano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Corneliu Văcăroiu got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jonathan Errapel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gustavo Birila. The Papillon AC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
