THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Borys Dudek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nicolae Nicoliță, made in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 12th minute Douglas D Agostino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas D Agostino in the 17th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Bacalbașa in the 22nd minute of play. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebati Rafih in the 26th minute of play. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas D Agostino in the 32nd minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Douglas D Agostino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Calistrat Madgearu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Bacalbașa in the 36th minute of the match. Paşa Borlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 40th minute of play. After the first half THE CRYSTAL SHIP were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiberiu Caramarin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Paşa Borlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 53rd minute of play. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebati Rafih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, Nicodim Orășan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicodim Orășan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute David Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paşa Borlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Tunander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paşa Borlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Tunander in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, MIT's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebati Rafih. After some careless play in the MIT defense, Douglas D Agostino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. The MIT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Madgearu should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Sebati Rafih had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. MIT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebati Rafih was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
