Dan Petrescu made a great header on Galati Harbour Cats's corner, it was just that Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Galati Harbour Cats's attentive Sven-Åke Ré managed to snatch the ball when Pete Wray made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Octavian Soare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baal Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ianis Man in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Ianis Man got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luca Jivulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shi Li in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 22 minutes, Sven-Åke Ré mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galati Harbour Cats and the Ares FC -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Shi Li kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luca Jivulescu. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Luca Jivulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 37th minute of the match. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Ares in the 39th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shi Li to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Viktor Eklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Shi Li came free, but Luca Jivulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Onurhan Çinuçin kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Baal Ares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Octavian Soare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Ianis Man shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Baal Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ares FC -MM- booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onurhan Çinuçin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Shi Li ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luca Jivulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Galati Harbour Cats's Mo Yuan Fan was substituted for Onurhan Çinuçin. 70 minutes into the game, Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavian Soare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baal Ares, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Ares FC -MM-'s Călin Hoisie got a free kick in the 79th minute. Galati Harbour Cats's Sven-Åke Ré got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Sven-Åke Ré off the ground. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galati Harbour Cats! Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Iliuță to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Ares in the 95th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ares FC -MM- were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Galati Harbour Cats's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karadeniz Otay took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ares FC -MM-'s corner Karadeniz Otay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Octavian Soare quite easily take care of the ball.
