Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ciro Cortez kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Kosakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominik Kosakowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Galati Harbour Cats's attentive Antoni Dembkowski managed to snatch the ball when Jens-Erik Forsberg made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Kosakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Kosakowski came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Ianis Man. But to his dismay, Ianis Man quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Octavian Soare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Cortez in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes Galati Harbour Cats's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Cortez who took care of the corner kick. 30 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominik Kosakowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Li in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Kosakowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shi Li's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Kosakowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Ciro Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Kosakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If René Orságh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Zachary Snaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Ruscova's René Orságh in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galati Harbour Cats's goalie prevented a goal. FC Ruscova's Dominik Kosakowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Galati Harbour Cats were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Octavian Soare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Snaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Umur Renan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Orságh in the 61st minute of play. FC Ruscova's Ciro Cortez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Octavian Soare in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Galati Harbour Cats were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after FC Ruscova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dan Petrescu took the corner. The corner ended in Sven-Åke Ré almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Ruscova's Dominik Kosakowski did a great save. Glauco Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Cortez in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Dominik Kosakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Li, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Cortez in the 93rd minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Galati Harbour Cats eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
