The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC MeHigh's Jailson Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FC MeHigh from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Juan Eduardo Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Leahu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the F.C. YKE defense, Ahmet Hasan Keyfer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Leahu. The F.C. YKE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Leahu should have stopped the shot. If Ahmet Hasan Keyfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Curuțiu in the 28th minute of play forced F.C. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Leahu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Twan van Nistelrooij got free with Jailson Abraão in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Juan Eduardo Guerrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Felix Leahu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ahmet Hasan Keyfer fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MeHigh's protests and gave Ahmet Hasan Keyfer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when FC MeHigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hasan Keyfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Eduardo Guerrero to make the kick off. Jailson Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Brăiloiu in the 92nd minute of the match. Jailson Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Twan van Nistelrooij, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jailson Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Brăiloiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Traian Brăiloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC MeHigh supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC MeHigh would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
