Tristan Falco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Li, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Petrescu during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dan Petrescu hit a great ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Maci -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dan Petrescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Galati Harbour Cats's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the FC Maci -MM- defense, Shi Li kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tristan Falco. The FC Maci -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tristan Falco should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Sami Zübeyr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavian Soare was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Sami Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Shi Li cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tristan Falco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ianis Man in the 41st minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Miclauș didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Onurhan Çinuçin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shi Li to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ianis Man had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ianis Man in the 54th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlad Mavrogheni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Soare having to make a save. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 92nd minute of play. Tristan Falco was a little too slow when Shi Li got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-5. The Galati Harbour Cats players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
