Karl-Michael Brask's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Leahu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Rodri Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Flavio Peter made a huge save. 44 minutes into the game, Paul Stoian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. YKE the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samet Ağar made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the game Yao Xing Chao made a throw-in which Samet Ağar played forward. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Brăiloiu in the 61st minute of play. Mugur Bejan's late challenge caught a F.C. YKE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mugur Bejan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Mugur Bejan got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Samet Ağar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samet Ağar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Peter having to interfere. Samet Ağar struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Flavio Peter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. YKE. Flavio Peter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samet Ağar went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute Traian Brăiloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
