An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 5th minute of play forced Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Armando Gazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Gazza came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li. But to his dismay, Shi Li quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Irinel Mirciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yenal Tanır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Gazza came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li. But to his dismay, Shi Li quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Shi Li notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Juventus PTM's Armando Gazza. Armando Gazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute of the game Cristinel Mihalcea made a throw-in which Raimundo Espírito Santo played forward. In the 26thth minute of the game Shi Li who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus PTM's Armando Gazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Irinel Mirciu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Raimundo Espírito Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Irinel Mirciu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yenal Tanır in the 40th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Irinel Mirciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Juventus PTM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galati Harbour Cats were winning 1-3.

Shi Li might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Gazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shi Li ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Gazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Li, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes Juventus PTM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dan Petrescu who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Espírito Santo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Irinel Mirciu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Juventus PTM were awarded a corner. Vidar Albäck went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gualter Távora got away a dangerous shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yenal Tanır in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irinel Mirciu saved Galati Harbour Cats from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Raimundo Espírito Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irinel Mirciu. Galati Harbour Cats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Espírito Santo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Juventus PTM's Alex Acatincăi was substituted for Osvaldinho Messias. Juventus PTM made a substitution. Petre Mitică replaced Patrick Viera. Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu was substituted for Raimundo Espírito Santo. The Juventus PTM supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galati Harbour Cats's performance. The match ended with a win for Galati Harbour Cats.
