Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodolfo Egoi kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Egoi lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. After 5 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Txartiko. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Egoi in the 7th minute of play. Segundo Ucieda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Placido Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Placido Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesar Evis made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jacinto Txartiko however managed to control. Placido Gartzea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Egoi in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Egoi in the 23rd minute of the match. Alvaro Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of the match. Placido Gartzeas short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th minute of the match Rosario Central got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prudencio Eleder ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Rosario Central's corner Prudencio Eleder fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Placido Gartzea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Ucieda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Evis made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacinto Txartiko. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alvaro Urre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Prudencio Eleder kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Rodolfo Egoi. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. When Cesar Evis fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario Central's protests and gave Cesar Evis a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Patricio Costa made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Urre. Rosario Central's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Rodolfo Egoi struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. 86 minutes into the game, Placido Gartzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosario Central's Segundo Ucieda got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Falck to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball.
