After 15 minutes of play, Peru's Luz Tejedor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Candido Piedra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Sergiu Zgrăbunţa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Candido Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
