Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 4th minute Mo Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute Manly FC were awarded a corner. Alexander Arnold went to the cornerflag to take it. Pete Wittber made a great header on Manly FC's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. Mo Salah received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Mo Salah slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Duke Carnduff dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-0. In the 17th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Mo Salah sent off a good shot on target. Clifford Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Mo Salah dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 4-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Aldridge went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. John Aldridge came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Irving Bonnison got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, John Aldridge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Mo Salah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. John Aldridge took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. John Aldridge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Salah came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Clifford Hamilton made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Salah in the 73rd minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Aldridge went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, John Aldridge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. John Aldridge might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Aldridge ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Aldridge in the 88th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, John Aldridge made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. Manly FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
