Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Manly FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Antonio Arias heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Case Tisdell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Manly FC defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Case Tisdell. The Manly FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Case Tisdell should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Case Tisdell. Manly FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Case Tisdell having to interfere. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manly FC's goalie prevented a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Case Tisdell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Manly FC's Case Tisdell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Case Tisdell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Case Tisdell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 35th minute of the match. Case Tisdell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Case Tisdell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Case Tisdell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Case Tisdell came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neale Franklin was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Case Tisdell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 53rd playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Case Tisdell. That made the score 0-10 after 56 minutes of play. In the 62nd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. 68 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Case Tisdell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Case Tisdell in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Case Tisdell. Case Tisdell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. 76 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Case Tisdell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita scored 0-16 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Case Tisdell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Manly FC defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Case Tisdell. The Manly FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Case Tisdell should have stopped the shot. If Calvin Vaughan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
