Gustaw Lech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvinho Britto's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Gustaw Lech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Britto in the 17th minute of play. In the 25th minute Tadeusz Siekierka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Los Hermanos CIMZ were awarded a corner. Bebeto Almeida went to the cornerflag to take it. Los Hermanos CIMZ's attentive Aníbal Pimenta managed to snatch the ball when Olgierd Falkowski made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes FC Saxon got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Falkowski. Lucas Buffon made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Sylwester Bejrut sent off a good shot on target. In the 47thth minute of the game Manoel de Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvinho Britto was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech got control of the ball when Silvinho Britto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 51 minutes into the match, Silvinho Britto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustaw Lech. FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC Saxon from getting a goal against them.
