Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mihail Pânzaru made the kick off and thus started the match. Mihail Pânzaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Valery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pegaso were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amador Vachon took the corner. In the 13th minute, Mihail Pânzaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pegaso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Mihail Pânzaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pegaso's Saverio Deunoro. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Mihail Pânzaru took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 36th minute Jairo Valery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Alfred Zbikowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred Zbikowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Mihail Pânzaru scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Mihail Pânzaru struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pegaso. 53 minutes into the game, Mihail Pânzaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru. But to his dismay, Mihail Pânzaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 60th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amador Vachon was slow to take the kick. During this time Pegaso's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Amador Vachon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Pânzaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. In the 65th minute, Mihail Pânzaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Loren Prats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Havier in the 79th minute of play. Joaquin Havier scored 10-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 84 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Joaquin Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pegaso's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Havier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Pegaso's Joaquin Havier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Havier in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Joaquin Havier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pegaso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Pegaso walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
