Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gröngölingarnas IF's Alf Ahlkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Luiz Fernando Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Luiz Fernando Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Gröngölingarnas IF's Alf Ahlkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alf Ahlkvist scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute Alf Ahlkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Ahlkvist's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jesper Hägert who took care of the corner kick. Luiz Fernando Leal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Alf Ahlkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jimmy Lilja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of the match. Karl-Ove Överman made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. 36 minutes into the match, Alf Ahlkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alf Ahlkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jesper Hägert made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Karl-Ove Överman however managed to control. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Fortunato Galliani succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 43rd playminute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alf Ahlkvist came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Gröngölingarnas IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Ahlkvist couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Gröngölingarnas IF got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Arvidsson. After 58th play minutes Alf Ahlkvist shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. 62 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Ahlkvist came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jesper Hägert who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Ahlkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alf Ahlkvist in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Ahlkvist in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Leal in the 94th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Gröngölingarnas IF were the better team. Gröngölingarnas IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
