Pablo Vegetti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Golo Duarte took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Golo Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Golo Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Santino Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 15th minute, Filinto Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Duarte in the 17th minute. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 18th minute of play. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Milian in the 21st minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Vegetti came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gustavo Brás hit a great ball. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filinto Ferro in the 42nd minute. Ulisses Duarte hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The audience was convinced that Golo Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Golo Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. In the 58th match minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Duarte in the 63rd minute of play. Golo Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Vegetti in the 69th minute of the match. Colombia made a substitution. Golo Duarte scored 4-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Duarte Duarte threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Secada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Mastache scored 4-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Rodolfo Lencastre got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golo Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land were the better team. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
