Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 27th minute of play. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the KOCAELİSPOR defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şemsettin Tuyuğ. The KOCAELİSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şemsettin Tuyuğ should have stopped the shot. Ömer Demirci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Ömer Demirci slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Aykut Nadi got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şemsettin Tuyuğ. The goal made the score 3-2. After 59 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Delgadillo. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Ömer Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Demirci came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Romeo Bâru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KOCAELİSPOR's Davut Erek was substituted for Boğaçhan Tanır. In the 68th match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Bâru to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşır Zabit in the 70th minute of the match. 76 minutes in the game Davut Erek did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Maximino Claris. 78 minutes into the game, Emmanuel Reyes threw the ball into play from the sideline. KOCAELİSPOR's Romeo Bâru quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 78th match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Bâru to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Aşır Zabit put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Şemsettin Tuyuğ. That made the score 4-3 after 95 minutes of play. Many of Peru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peru may have spent more time on the ball, but KOCAELİSPOR were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
