Cura del Futbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Cura del Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Peter to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Eron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Cambeiro went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Conrado Eron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 15th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Conrado Eron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Eron having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Stephen during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcial Stephen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Melquiades Rosalio got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cura del Futbol's Conrado Eron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrado Eron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Melquiades Rosalio got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Constantino Peter made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Cura del Futbol's Conrado Eron got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Cura del Futbol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Conrado Eron to make any attempt to save it. Conrado Eron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Isidoro Sarmientos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Conrado Eron to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 65 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Barrios charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Barrios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Eron was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Cura del Futbol's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Eron came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Rosalio in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Acuña during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Martin Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cura del Futbol's Conrado Eron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Carolo Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cura del Futbol's Conrado Eron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Conrado Eron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cura del Futbol throughout the match.
