Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pepe Sand made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Bernabe Olivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 minutes, Pepe Sand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pucará and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pucará's Pepe Sand got a free kick in the 12th minute. Lautaro Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Pucará defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Morales. The Pucará fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Morales should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Morales. Pucará's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Pucará's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Lautaro Morales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Timoteo Martxot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pucará's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Pucará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Martxot to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pucará's Lautaro Morales. Lautaro Morales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Artizar got free with Julio Vera in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After 50 minutes, Godofredo Lauaxeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pucará and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Morales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Lautaro Morales in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Morales was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Lautaro Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Morales came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 65th minute. If Pepe Sand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pucará's Gabriel Tulio was substituted for Faustino Sayveon. Lautaro Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 76th minute of the match. Franco Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Pucará got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Lauaxeta. Pucará's Lautaro Morales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pucará's Franco Orozco got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Artizar in the 92nd minute of play. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Morales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The Pucará fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
