Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Tellier's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Placido Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Pastor Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Firmes short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Lucero having to interfere. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Phelipe, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Firme. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Vedillo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Firme in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Placido Henrico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Phelipe, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Vedillo in the 41st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Evelio Firme put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Hats in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Hats came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Hats in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Tellier's goalkeeper Placido Lucero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 95th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tellier fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
