Carlos Lampe came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Giertych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play forced ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goalkeeper Carlos Lampe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Mikolaj Giertych sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Lampe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Mikolaj Giertych managed to get in a good position for a shot. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mikolaj Giertych was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
