An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jesus Allu in the 19th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Matteo Fierro made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tibalt Bruna however managed to control. The crowd rose to their feet as Snorlax FC's Mario Jesus Allu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. Venezuela's Joshua Secada suffered a fractured collar bone after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 29 minutes into the game, Matteo Fierro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Snorlax FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo was substituted for Joshua Secada. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Matteo Fierro hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Tibalt Bruna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. The supporters of Snorlax FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mario Jesus Allu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 49 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Zebulón Diaz de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. With a little luck, Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibalt Bruna, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tancredo Manguyague narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
