Fabrício Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, FC Fura Balizas's Olívio Ribas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 19th minute, Fabrício Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Fura Balizas's Long Gang Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes FC Fura Balizas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gusmão Benevides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassius Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Long Gang Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Cassius Byrne made a precise shot to the right of Long Gang Sen. FC Fura Balizas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Ribas in the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

But to his dismay, Eugeniusz Sanocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Sanocki in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Sanocki in the 90th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Long Gang Sen made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Marco Baker sent off a good shot on target. After 92 played minutes Marco Baker rounded FC Fura Balizas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-3. Fabrício Lopes's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrício Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Fura Balizas were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
