Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nereo Cacheres took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Nereo Cacheres put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Cacheres in the 10th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Nereo Cacheres put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Nereo Cacheres took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Albano Unzueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Nereo Cacheres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nereo Cacheres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Pablo-Enrique Alabern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 41st match minute, Los once leones Ourense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dabi Vila to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Cacheres in the 43rd minute of play. Dabi Vila scored 6-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Dabi Vila could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Unzueta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dabi Vila, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Los once leones Ourense booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Los once leones Ourense's Dabi Vila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo-Enrique Alabern in the 87th minute of play. When Leandro Merino fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los once leones Ourense's protests and gave Leandro Merino a yellow card for diving instead. Axel Tasiss short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Albano Unzueta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute, Pablo-Enrique Alabern left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los once leones Ourense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los once leones Ourense fully deserved thier win.
