In the 3rd minute, Tage Eklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Ahlquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Eklund came free, but Olov Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glentown FC's Olov Ahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Văn 吕布 in the 11th minute of play. Olov Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruslan Bumbac in the 13th minute of play. Olov Ahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Văn 吕布, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasta Alfonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Bai Jian Ao made a huge save. Olov Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Văn 吕布, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Tage Eklund scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Ahlquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olov Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Văn 吕布 in the 35th minute of the match. Olov Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Văn 吕布 in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute Văn 吕布 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Glentown FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stakbröte were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hasta Alfonso made a kick off. Bai Jian Ao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glentown FC were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Stakbröte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hasta Alfonso took the corner. Hasta Alfonso made a great header on Glentown FC's corner, it was just that Stakbröte's Bai Jian Ao managed to reach the ball for a save. Glentown FC were furious when Anton Axelsson was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Stakbröte's Mathias Kielberg was substituted for Dündar Dunđer. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Stakbröte eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
