In the 11th minute, Violet Skachkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Auktsjaur IF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Patryk Frodyma hit a great ball. Bertil Jonsson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertil Jonsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, FC Old Dogs United's Nikolay Ikonomov got control of the ball when Patryk Frodyma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Borcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tinko Lachev in the 21st minute of play. When Shi Zhen Liang came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Auktsjaur IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shi Zhen Liang couldn't finish the play. Nikolay Ikonomov made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Patryk Frodyma sent off a good shot on target. Patryk Frodyma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Ikonomov having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Auktsjaur IF were awarded a corner. Luis Neto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luis Neto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Old Dogs United's Nikolay Ikonomov did a great save. Shi Zhen Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Ikonomov having to interfere. Julian Borcz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Jonsson in the 47th minute of play forced Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Julian Borcz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Jonsson was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Old Dogs United's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Frodyma came free, but Nikolay Ikonomov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Backlund took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikolay Ikonomov. Nikolay Ikonomov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 56 minutes into the match, FC Old Dogs United's Paun Zankov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Borcz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Jonsson in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Borcz saved Auktsjaur IF from getting behind. In the 57th minute Tinko Lachev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Borcz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Frodyma in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Old Dogs United's goalkeeper Nikolay Ikonomov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Old Dogs United's Nikolay Ikonomov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Zhen Liang in the 68th minute of play. The Auktsjaur IF fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Auktsjaur IF's Patryk Frodyma looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 78 minutes into the match, FC Old Dogs United's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Frodyma came free, but Nikolay Ikonomov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Helge Molander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Ikonomov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikolay Ikonomov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Backlund in the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Old Dogs United defense, Karl Backlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikolay Ikonomov. The FC Old Dogs United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikolay Ikonomov should have stopped the shot. Nikolay Ikonomov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Molander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donald Mac Donald hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Bengt Lööf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paun Zankov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Julian Borcz made a huge save. Nikolay Ikonomov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Molander in the 90th minute of the match.
FC Old Dogs United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
