With a little luck, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Xander Goos got control of the ball when Sílvio Luís Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Dudu got free with Xander Goos in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 13th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Xander Goos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Shen Sang Hao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Shen Sang Hao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Neuer having to make a save. Michel Neuer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shen Sang Hao in the 89th minute. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Dan Dal Bello sped through Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xander Goos. Tarrasque Voador F.C. played a much better game than U21 Brazil and deserved their victory. The U21 Brazil players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
