Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Geangu in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Ongile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Peru's Milagros Fraga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geronimo Ongile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Ongile was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Gastres FC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Ongile came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Ongile having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Geronimo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Geronimo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of the match. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Geronimo Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. In the 46th match minute, Gastres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Ginanjar to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Belmiro to make the kick off. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calistrat Geangu scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Geangu in the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Belmiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Gastres FC's Feliberto Cuarto was substituted for Tomasz Zurawski. In the 91st minute of the game Egemen Aldemir made a throw-in which Conrado Ramond played forward. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gastres FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Ongile, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
