Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. Ruperto Modestio came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rolando Noboa could save by the left post. In the 6th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruce Cornforth. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Mourelatos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Cornelio Rius in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 17th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Mourelatos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Mourelatos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Kauldi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Valerio Spadoni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Cornelio Rius in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 54th minute of play. Ariel Mourelatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 58th minute of the match. If Valerio Spadoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Alberto Abascal in the 63rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Alberto Abascal in the 65th minute of play. Ariel Mourelatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 67th minute of the match. Ariel Mourelatos made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Moises Gayoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bruce Cornforth in the 87 minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Mourelatos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Antonio Tenorio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Mourelatos. That made the score 2-2 after 90 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Cornelio Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
