Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerio Spadoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ariel Mourelatos made a huge save. Peru were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Amboy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Milagros Fraga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ariel Mourelatos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
