Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Luis Nardo came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Florida Gulf Coast's Lukáš Katačić ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Lukáš Katačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Lukáš Katačić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Luis Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Geronimo Bonadona got a free kick in the 29th minute. Luis Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Nardo having to interfere. In the 37th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Xavier Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Jose Manzanedo in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Florida Gulf Coast's Santos Piearres. The Florida Gulf Coast players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Florida Gulf Coast's Lukáš Katačić. But to his dismay, Lukáš Katačić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 63 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Katačić in the 67th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Luis Nardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of play. Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Florida Gulf Coast from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Geronimo Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Geronimo Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florida Gulf Coast's Nestor Inko was substituted for Lukáš Katačić. In the 96th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Nardo saved Florida Gulf Coast from getting behind. Chile were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
